We only use the cookies we need, and ask before anything else.

Essential cookies

These make the site work and keep it secure, so they don't need your consent.

  • hp.session_token (and Better Auth cookies starting hp.): Keeps you signed in.
  • hp_admin: Keeps HelloPros staff signed in to the admin console.
  • hp_business: Remembers which of your businesses the pro portal shows.
  • hp_device: A random id for pros' devices, to keep accounts secure and spot duplicate accounts.
  • hp_login_phone: Remembers your number for 10 minutes while you enter a sign-in code.
  • hp_consent: Remembers your cookie choice.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: Checks you're a person when you post a job (cf_ cookies).

Analytics cookie (only with your OK)

hp_aid: a random id so we can count page visits (through our own servers, using PostHog). It is set only if you choose “Accept analytics” and lasts one year. We don't use advertising cookies.
